The MSUM Dragons officially wrapped up their season on Saturday at the Super Rink, delivering a commanding 9-2 victory over Bethel to head into Spring Break on a massive high note.

A Resounding Finale at the Super Rink

• Final Score: MSUM Dragons 9 – Bethel 2

Saturday’s tilt didn’t start exactly as planned, with Bethel catching the Dragons off guard and finding the back of the net just 10 seconds after the opening puck drop. However, that early deficit was exactly the wake-up call MSUM needed.

The Dragons fired right back, completely taking over the ice and imposing their will for the remainder of the first period. By the time the horn sounded for the first intermission, MSUM had flipped the script to take a commanding 5-1 lead. From there, the team never looked back. The Dragons kept their foot on the gas and rolled through the rest of the game, cruising to a decisive 9-2 victory to close out the year.

Schedule Update: BSU Away Series Canceled

Unfortunately, our scheduled away series against the Bemidji State Beavers has been officially canceled. While we were looking forward to hitting the road for one last matchup against BSU, this cancellation makes our dominant win over Bethel the official end of our season.

As we head into Spring Break and transition into the offseason, we want to send a massive thank you to everyone who supported Dragon Hockey this year. To the fans, friends, and family who packed the stands, followed the updates, and cheered us on—thank you. We couldn’t do it without your energy.

We also want to give a special shoutout to our graduating seniors. Thank you for your leadership, your dedication to the team, and everything you’ve poured into this program on and off the ice.
